On Friday the 'Pears' read this great story about a boy and his Grandpa making lemonade together. A recipe was included and we thought it looked pretty easy so... today we made lemonade in Room 16.
The 'Pears', Alannah, Jade, Dylan and Danniella made the first batch and we all watched. It was just like a cooking show! After that Miss Affleck helped everyone else make a batch. We had lemonade to drink with our morning tea.

| Cut four lemons in half. Squeeze out the juice using a juicer. Put juice into a blender with a half a cup of sugar. |

| Everyone watched carefully so they would know what to do when it was their turn. |

| Add 10 ice cubes. |

| Add water. |
 |
| Blend all the ingredients. This is a little noisy. |
 |
| Finally... the taste test. |

It must have been good because everyone came back for a second glass after having a taste while they were making it. Mrs Scott missed out because she wasn't fast enough!
Yum, that sounds delicious! Home made lemonade is the best!
ReplyDeleteJasmin remembered the recipe really well and told me from memory when she got home! Will have to buy some lemons now and try making it at home.
